Questions & Answers
Any Size Cargo Expediting
Shippers
Q: Why would I benefit in posting my loads on your site?
A: You would have access to hundreds of pre-screened carriers some of whom may be going that way anyway resulting in big money savings to you.
Q: Are these carriers reputable and what do you mean by pre-screened?
A: Most of these carriers have been around for years and are on this board to enhance their business. Some companies may be new but our pre-screening process will involve a Business Registration number, insurance company, number of vehicles, as well as business and personal references. You may decide who you want to use as you can click on their profile.
Q: Who do I pay?
A: You will pay the carrier directly as per Billing arrangements that you set up. He will invoice you.
Q: Can I send all my freight out Via this website?
A: Any Size Cargo puts no limitations on - no matter how big or little the amount that the shipper has offered, but we don't believe that it would be advantagious to you or the carrier to create an invoice for under 50.00 dollars. Your big savings will be seen by long haul expediting or heavy truck loads.
Q: What vehicles can I expect to be on this site?
A: Cars, Vans, Mini Vans, Cargo Vans, Straight Trucks, Reefer Units, Flat Beds and what ever else is offered.
Q: Why do you need so much info about me since I'm not your customer and can post for free?
A: We have to offer our carriers the accurate info about your company so they will feel comfortable billing you and know that they will receive payment.
Q; How long do I have to pay the carrier?
A: On your posting page, you will have terms of payment, ie. Cheque Ready,15 Days, 30 Days, 60 days. The carrier will then decide if he will accept those terms. Note: The longer the terms, will determine whether anyone will offer to do your trips. We believe that the money saving potential will far override the inconvenience of quick payment.
Q: What about claims?
A: The carrier is 100% responsible for lost or stolen goods. Make sure you do your due deligence before accepting an offer from a carrier. We are just a matching load board connecting the shippers with carriers. Our pre-screening process is limited.
Q: Can all the carriers in the system see my posting along with my company name?
A: No. Carriers will see details of shipment only, and be able to see your company when you select them for a shipment .
Q: Why isn't my shipment being taken?
A:The price offered may be too low and you might have to bring it up, or your payment terms may be too long.
Q: What if I have a problem with a carrier?
A: You may e-mail us the circumstances and we will investigate the situation and it could result in termination from the site.
Q: Is this a bid board.
A: No. You cannot drop your price offered. You may up it if no one accepts it.
Carriers
Q: What if the shipper doesn't pay me within the agreed time?
A: Any Size Cargo has limited power in collecting accounts but you may report this company for non payment to us so we can investigate. We will contact the company by phone or email and ask why the non payment and if it has anything to do with the carriers' service. If the service was satisfactory, then the shipper will be required to pay the carrier within 15 days or face suspension from the site. After that, the carrier may pursue other collection methods
Q: What does my subscription include?
A: 24 hour access to the board and e-mail alerts that pertain to your vehicle and location.
Q: Can I do a job for one of these shippers if they ask me or call me before they post it on the board?
A: Yes, The shippers are not Any Size Cargo's customers, we are just here to assist on the matching up of the shipper & carrier. We make our money on a subscription basis.
Q: Are we required to do so many calls per month or be available at specific times?
A: No. You are your own boss, You can do as little as possible or as much as possible.
Q: Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
A: Yes, but if you sign back up at a later date, you will lose out on the low introductory rate that is grandfathered in and guaranteed not to go up for a period of 3 years.
